Student Council
The Student Council at Lycée Emmanuel is a leadership body that represents the voice of students, enhances school life, and works in collaboration with teachers and administration. Each class elects one Representative who plays an active role in building a positive and engaged school community.
Responsibilities of Student Representatives
Student Representation & Advocacy
Serve as the official voice of the student body.
Act as a liaison between students and staff to foster a respectful and inclusive environment.
Collect and present student opinions, concerns, and suggestions to the Council.
School & Community Engagement
Help organize school-wide events such as cultural days, awareness campaigns, sports tournaments, and charity initiatives.
Take part in community service projects that encourage social responsibility.
Contribute to school improvement efforts, including cleanliness drives, beautification projects, and student-led workshops.
Leadership & Peer Mentorship
Promote respect, responsibility, and unity among students.
Encourage classmates to uphold school rules and policies.
Support and mentor younger students.
Assist new students in adjusting to school life.
Communication & Decision-Making
Participate in monthly meetings to discuss student concerns and plan activities.
Contribute to discussions, voting, and decision-making, and report back to classmates.
Collaborate with teachers and administrators to enhance academics and extracurricular activities.
Develop and share newsletters and announcements about school events.
A Student Council Representative is more than just a student leader. They embody the voice of their peers, champion their interests, and uphold the values of responsibility, respect, and service at Lycée Emmanuel.
